San and Moro from Mononoke Hime/The Princess Mononoke.
Made in photoshop, based on a scanned pencilsketch that had been lying around for quite some time.
(Although the finished CG version is different from the original sketch.)
I only had a few small screenshots from the movie for reference, so some details in San's costume might be a little "off" or missing. It was also my first ever try at drawing a wolf!
The picture took about 3 hours to make.
Wow, that is amazing! In your first time drawing a wolf, I think you really captured the feeling and characters of San's packmate from the movie. The style is very beautiful, and the little kodomas are an adoreble touch. Great work!
best movie ever!..well one of the best..great rendition of the characters, i like how your style prevalent and its not just a copy of miyazaki's work. really nice stuff,
cheers,
Merlot
wow, very nice. there are a few little things that seem somewhat off (her outstretched hand, for example),but overall, this is well done...her expression is so intense, and her pose cool as well. as for the wolf, that eye is perfect
WOW that is amazing, I absolutely LLOOOOVEEE that movie, awesome job!
